These heavy duty undersink reverse osmosis systems ensure you always have pure sparkling water

These reverse osmosis units are installed under the sink, and water is accessed via a separate faucet on top of the bench.

They all come complete with a stainless steel storage tank, which incorporates a food grade bladder to store the pure water ready for use. They quietly and automatically produce pure water, and shut off when the tank is full, without wasting water.

When required, pure water is drawn from the storage tank, which then receives a final polish from the chemical reduction cartridge, just prior to drinking. This produces only the best tasting, pure drinking water for your good health.

Premium Undersink Reverse Osmosis

This reverse osmosis system is recommended where sufficient space is available. It requires a minimum of 45cms vertical clearance, but preferably full cupboard space. The unit is attached to the side wall, approximatey 4" from the bottom to allow removal of the housings. Maintenance of the unit is achieved using the cartridge spanner provided. It allows easy removal of the housings. Some access is also required to change the final post filter, which is located on top of the unit, unless it is entirely removed from the wall during maintenance.

Compact Undersink Reverse Osmosis

When the undersink height is insufficient for the premium model, the compact reverse osmosis model may be ideal. It requires approx 10" of vertical clearance, and can sit on a bench or be attached to the side wall.

Storage Tanks

Reverse osmosis storage tanks are available in 8, 12 & 18 litre sizes. Choice will be dependant on the number of occupants in the household, and limitations with the undersink space. More information here.

To Alkalise or Mineralise?

Also available with the option to include a remineralising cartridge or remineralising/alkalising and oxygenating cartridge.

The differences between the pi-alkaliser and mineraliser are as follows:

Pi-Alkaliser

  • Raises the pH to about 9.0-9.5
  • Remineralises the water
  • Oxygenates the water

Mineraliser

  • Raises the pH to about 7.0-7.5
  • Remineralises the water

Notes

  1. The pH of a standard RO is slightly acidic, at about 6.5.
  2. The mineraliser cannot oxygenate the water because the property which oxygenates the water also has an alkalising effect.
