Whole House Big Blue Single 20" x 4.5" (Tank water)

Great product but ordering website is confusing. It says 1inch or 1 I/2 inch inlets/outlets but doesn't allow you to select as an option. When I telephoned was told that 3/4inch inlet/outlets were standard...which is what I wanted anyway. It also says "gauge not included" even when it's shown in the photo. So I telephoned again and ordered a gauge (they do supply them if you ask) so I paid my extra $30 and was sent 2 gauges in the package so I'm not sure what that is about. The postage was also late but these are strange times. All in all though, despite having to work all this out and place the order over the phone it's a good quality product so no complaints there.

Quick delivery and a solid/quality casing and filter.
Easy for the plumber to install. I have one on the mains water and tank water, as well as a chlorine filter on the mains - all great products.

Product was delivered quickly.
All components are of the highest quality.
Also the price is very good in comparison to what you can buy of the shelf.

This company generally use a fly by night express (astral) company to transport their product ( good luck with that)
goods usually arrive damaged or not at all. or if you are blessed they may arrive three weeks late slightly damaged.
If they are slightly damaged purestream swill will dismiss your claim and require the purchaser to forward back the goods at the purchases expense
Purchase it from china, cheaper, it works, and you will receive it much quicker than if you purchase it locally.

1. *All* our goods are shipped Australia wide either via: Australia Post, Startrack Express or Fastway Couriers - with Tracking ID
2. If any is damaged during transit, we will discuss this with our customer, and attempt to resolve to the mutual satisfaction of both parties. Items damaged beyond use, we shall send a replacement no charge. Items with minor scratches or minor surface damage that will not effect the products performance, we will discuss with our customer, and commonly end up offering a discount or credit voucher on future replacement filter purchases. Again, no charge to our customer.
If our customer is still not 100% happy, we are happy for them to return any slighted damaged items at their cost, and we will happily send a replacement (at our cost).
If failing all of the above, the customer can always return the item (unused and again at their cost) and we shall refund the total purchase cost, less any original freight charges (as per our standard Terms & Conditions).

Shoppers can always buy cheaper, non-water marked compliant products from China (or elsewhere). We pride ourselves on over 25+ years of supplying and servicing our '000's of loyal customers with quality, water-marked approved quality filters and water filter systems at reasonable, factory direct prices.

Note: We did not edit the disgruntled customers review. Startrack Express were late by a few days in delivery, which was beyond our control, and dispatch in our warehouse have been advised to consider alternative freight providers for all future deliveries into this area.
We offered him a discount for the 'minor damage' incurred from the delivery, which was refused. We also offered replacement item, as per above, which was refused :(

just had it installed and it was instantaneous crystal clear water and the taste was incredible.
