This premium carbon cartridge is one of two cartridges we recommend for use in all Purestream Twin Undersink and Countertop Models, as well as our Triple Undersink Water Filter.

Omnipure Carbon Filter is made from Coconut Shell Carbon, which produces cleaner, fresher tasting water.

Cryptosporidium and Giardia removal.

Difference tween C-78X and C-78PB1:

C-78X is a standard coconut husk carbon for cyst removal, a natural source which does not bleach phosphates into the water.

C-78PB1 is a specialised coconut husk carbon to remove cysts and heavy metals.

    I've been using the coconut filters for about 4 years now and wouldn't switch back to another type. When you fit a new filter after a while you forget just how delicious water can taste. The coconut husk in this filter makes the water taste sweet, similar to what you get if you use a brine water softener.
